SINOPSE
O relacionamento de Rachel e Joey dura apenas três episódios, pois eles percebem que a amizade entre eles é tão forte que o sexo seria impossível. Alguns episódios mais tarde, Mike pede Phoebe novamente em casamento, recebendo um sim como resposta. Eles se casam logo depois.
Chandler e Monica tentam adotar o bebê de uma mulher chamada Érica, que está grávida e não poderá cria-lo. Eles também decidem se mudar para o interior do Estado e começam a procurar uma casa (os outros quatro começam a achar que Chandler tem uma amante quando ele começa a se encontrar seguidamente com uma mulher loira, que na verdade é a corretora de imóveis que está trabalhando para eles). No episódio final, Érica dá a luz a gêmeos, um menino e uma menina. O menino se chama Jack (em homenagem ao pai de Mônica e Ross), enquanto a menina se chama Érica (em homenagem à mãe biológica das crianças).
